I decided for the Swan Lake fairytale and used Swan lake ballet , Swan Princess cartoon and Black Swan movie as inspiration. I opted for balack and white contrast as a visual highlight of the story and here´s the result:

Fairytale swap: black swan
For the fairytale swap everyone had to chose their favorite fairytale and make one piece of jewelry, handmade notebook, hair accessory, favorite quote and some small object (I made round box).

Fairytale
There is another swap I´m participating. It´s called Fairytale swap and is organized by this nice lady. I find fairytales very interesting and inspiring as they were once stories for adults, full of archetypes symbolically describing everyone's path thru the spiritual development. Enjoy these beautiful photos!
Scrappy swap
I´ve been participating in this interesting international swap organized by Kat from Flutter.Kat. We exchanged our fabric scraps and some small goodies made from scraps. This swap was "blind" so we only knew who our partner was until everyone received their goodies at the end. Therefore, I´ve sent package to Ann Marie from Toronto and received one from Caroline who lives in Toronto too. The swap will have a second round, so if you are interested, check Flutter.Kat at the begining of March.

Nautical swap
There was a nautical theme swap organized between local crafters so I decided to participate. For my partner I made striped bag with bow, sketchbook cover and lavender bag and I sent it along with pencil, postcard and hairband. I was not really a fan of nautical fashion before, but this swap made me look closer and I found some really cute stuff out there.
